Steven Pressman
Director/Producer, PerlePress Productions
Born and raised in Los Angeles, and with a political science degree from Berkeley, Steven Pressman was a long-time journalist before becoming a documentary filmmaker. He has directed and produced three films that screened at AJFF: 50 Children: The Rescue Mission of Mr. and Mrs. Kraus (2013); Holy Silence (2020); and The Levys of Monticello (2022).

Scot Safon
Consultant
Scot Safon is an award-winning long-time marketing and branding expert who’s held leadership roles at CNN, HLN, CNN Digital, TNT, The Weather Channel, MotorTrend and UP. Currently, he’s a consultant working with clients that include Ford, Scripps, New America, ICP, Showtime and Audible. He attended the University of Virginia (BA) and Cornell (MBA).

Caio Jardim
Student, Emory University
Caio Jardim was born in the U.S. but spent most of his life in Brazil. He returned to the U.S. his freshman year of high school and has remained ever since. He is now a rising senior at Emory University with an expected 2023 graduation. He is partial to documentaries and romcoms, both of which he enjoys producing as well as watching.
In this intimate artist portrait and meditation on memory, Israel’s most celebrated photojournalist reflects on a lifetime of searing images that have defined his nation.
