Powerful, often painful moments are conveyed through an artful assembly of iconic snapshots, enlargements and contact sheets. Voiceover by Bar-Am—self-doubting, and often interrupted by his scolding wife and archivist Orna—reveals the personal toll of a wearying career recording trauma.
