Goodrich C. White Professor of Film and Media at Emory
Matthew H. Bernstein, the Goodrich C. White Professor of Film and Media at Emory University, chaired the department for 15 years. He hosted the Atlanta Cinema Club and served on the National Film Preservation Board for over two decades. He wrote Screening a Lynching: The Leo Frank Case in Film and Television (2009), and is the author or editor of five other volumes of American film history. - Mara Lopez
HBO SVP of Post- Production
Mara Lopez, an LA native, is an HBO SVP of post-production, covering series like Succession, The White Lotus, and True Detective, and HBO Max third party series including Hacks and others. Earlier Mara headed post-production at Warner Bros. Television, BET, and Paramount Television, and worked on such series as The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and the Masters of Sex pilot. - Evelyn Landy
Student, Emory University
A sophomore at Emory University studying English and creative writing, plus film and media, Evelyn Landy is currently an AJFF intern and has previously interned at the Jewish Museum in NYC and the Gotham Group. She enjoys writing fiction as well as screenplays and hopes to write for television one day. She is excited to be a student juror this year.
